Cosmetic procedures for longer front bottom teeth?

NOT BONDING THOUGH. Any one have anything done to lengthen bottom teeth?? lumenners perhaps?Cosmetic procedures for longer front bottom teeth?
Ya lumenners or venners are a very good option if your teeth have no fillings. If the teeth you want to change the look of have fillings in them then you will need crowns instead. but if the appearance is annoying that much these are a very good investment.

Where can I get a directory (like yellowpages) for Indian (India) COSMETIC makeup skincare businesses in USA?

Whats is your favourite cosmetic brand?

Whats your fav brand of cosmetics? And why?Whats is your favourite cosmetic brand?
clinique, natural beauty stuff which i always use and is just what i wanted and its in a reasonable price. then, i would say MAC or bourjois, they have nice colourful shades of eyeshadows and fab lip glosses but sometimes its too much for me.Whats is your favourite cosmetic brand?
M.A.C. Great lipsticks , glosses and eye colours. Affordable too.....it's the make up brushes that are expensive but they are wonderful.
I like Covergirl, because it is very afordable and has good quality. Some of their make-up is waterproof and hypoallergenic which makes life a lot easier.
Benefit all the way. I just found out about it, and I'm in love. It's a bit pricy, but it's worth the investment. Everything produces amazing results not to mention it comes in such adorable packaging.
Chanel is my favortie brand of make up/cosmetics. That was my first choice for skincare and cosmetics. Each and every one of their products is specifically designed for you. If you have oilily skin than they have products that target oilness. Dryness, same thing. There moisturizers are great. Nars is also a good brand.
    Mary Kay!!! And it's affordable!!
MAC.. i can afford it, and it works!
Definately MAC...it lasts all day and is good quality.
clinique and merle norman are my favorites.. and i've been wanting to test out MAC but there isn't a counter any where around here... like the closest is about twenty or thirty minutes away.
MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC by far!!!!! They have such a wide range of colours, the quality is secund to none, the staying power is amazing and there are just not bad points to it!
I love Mary Kay because their make-up contains natrual colors and even ones that aren't so natural. The colors are superb and they last for a long time. The variety of colors is amazing, and when you walk into the light you just seem to shimmer. You can trust Mary Kay because they've been around for a while and still no complaints. The prices are great too. No worries it's totally fine for the skin!
i like maybelline because they are trying to make makeup that doesn't irratate sensitive skin like the Pure makeup. their make up is also a good quality. it lasts a while
I love BeneFit, but I also like Chanel, Shisheido, Clinique and Lancome. Each brand has a special product that enhances my features, and I like to mix and match.
Lancome is so awesome. It lasts a long time and it's just overall really good and convenient for me!
I really love the BareMinerals line. I use it because I have really sensative skin, and this is the first makeup I can use daily that doesn't feel like it's burning. I also don't break out like I used to, and it lasts a really long time, so I'm not spending as much on makeup anymore.
I like different cosmetics from different brands. I just got Loreal Infallible foundation. I'm wearing it right now and love it!

I like MAC eyeshadows, C. Dior's Dior Show mascara (around $23 from Sephora but definitely worth it!), I don't really do a lot for lip color, I normally go for clear gloss.

For foundation, I heard that Revlon Colorstay is pretty good, along with Loreal Infallible (which is my new fav now). Hope it helps a bit.
well i only use mascara, but my fav is l'oreal double extend, because while my lashes aren't that short they are thin, so the double extend adds length and width to them. i tried maybelline's XXL but it just clumps.
MAC is amazing. But I only like thier eye makeup. Otherwise I use clinique for foundation and bronzer. LOVE THEM BOTH.
Bare Minerals all the way! I love it. I have been wearing make up for over 15 years (I'm 31) and a lot of it. This is the best stuff. You look really good, natural and it you don't get the ';greasy'; spots at the end of the day like I used to.
I use Clinique because my skin is very sensitive
    dior only
    Estee Lauder.

I want to know that wat are the possibilities of cosmetic surgery? is it possible to make beautify the shape?

it dependes on what you want?

i had lipo done to my hip(love handles) and my *** stuck out like that Kim kardasian girl.i had it lipoed too! i went to a really bad cosmetic Dr. my hips are now wonky and my *** has been flatted which now is out of shape to my body. its like he has pushed all the fat sideways. i was better off before. seriously really think hard about it. it hurts nd is pain full for weeks. research your Dr to make sure they know what they are doing or find out of people who had had it done by a good Dr.

  • Are there any cosmetic surgeons in training that do low-cost surgeries?

Your best bet on that is to talk to a doctor with a good reputation. Some surgeons will offer monthly payments. But buyer be ware, you get what you pay for, so always ask alot of questions. Are there any cosmetic surgeons in training that do low-cost surgeries?
Probably not. One mistake without insurance and the litigation would end their career before it had begun.

That's like an airline pilot taking his friends for a ride in a 757 after a couple of months training.

    Any good MAC cosmetic alternatives?

I was just wondering if there are any other brands of similar quality but that is not as expensive as MAC? Thank you.Any good MAC cosmetic alternatives?
If you're looking at foundations and powders then I'd try Revlon or Maybelline. I use Revlon Colorstay and it's fabulous. It's about $10 instead of $25.

As for eyeshadows, NYX is great. It's about $4 for a pot rather than $14 like it is at MAC and the color are pretty pigmented. You can even use the NYX eye crayons as a base underneath the eyeshadow and it'll make the colors pop and last longer.

If you're looking for an eyeliner, try Loreal HIP cream eyeliner. It's pretty comparable to MAC's Fluidline but it's not as smooth. The HIP is another good base for under eyeshadow too. I think the eyeliner is about $10 instead of $14.Any good MAC cosmetic alternatives?
Loreal HIP (high intensity pigment) line offers great bold colors at more affordable prices--and available at a drug store. Other than that... There's a line called Fresh Minerals that is sold at some drug stores that has really high quality makeup for cheaper, but they're selection is limited and kinda hardto find.

In general, with makeup, you get what you pay for. I'd check out the HIP line, it's a bit more pricey that your typical drug-store line of makeup, but at the same time, it is better quality, and comes in some great bold, MAC-like colors. I bought a bright magenta shadow for Halloween, and it worked and looked great.
Not for my money. MAC Rockz!
    Urban Decay

    Too Faced

    Clinique

    Sugar

but they are around the same price as MAC and MAC is still better
NYX is great. It's not quite as awesome as Mac, but for the price you can really play around with colors. I actually prefer their lipgloss. At 5 bucks, it's a steal. Ulta started carrying it a few months ago.

How to look beautiful without using any kinds of cosmetic?

treat your skin really well- wash your face with a mild cleanser up to 3 times a day to prevent pimples, apply an eye gel to keep the skin around your eyes healthy, USE SUNSCREEN to prevent your skin from being damaged- when you dry your face, don't dry it from your forehead downward- instead push the towel upward on your face to counteract gravity, use a revitalizing moisturizer... over time, taking care of your face will keep it fresh and young looking- never pull on your skin downward, don't lean on your hands, and remember, your emotions show in your face- if you frown all the time or have a pessimistic outlook on life, your face will look aged over time- keep your inner peace and treat others well- all these positive things will reflect in your face. ALL the things I mentioned are not an overnight cure- they all will counteract the effects of time so they will take time, but they will make a world of difference!!! ....and smile! How to look beautiful without using any kinds of cosmetic?
Like everyone's already mentioned, being happy with yourself and confident are sure fire ways to be beautiful! Because beauty isn't only external ...

But to enhance your natural beauty without using cosmetics, make sure you're at a healthy weight for your height. Get a hair cut and colour to compliment the shape of your face and skintone. Develop a skincare routine to get your skin looking its best. Wear outfits to accentuate your best attributes and develop your own style. Stay healthy by eating well and exercising to get that healthy glow, treat your body well!

If you choose to use cosmetics, use a little tinted moisturizer, a coat of mascara and some glossy lip balm, put on a nice headband or scarf, spray a spritz of perfume and SMILE! :)How to look beautiful without using any kinds of cosmetic?
To look beautiful, you need to make sure you get lots of sleep and drink plenty of water. Make sure you feel comfortable in your own skin. Every day, try and say three positive things about your personality and three about the way you look. If you believe in yourself and believe that you look beautiful you will radiate beauty and confidence! Just remember, real beauty is on the inside, but it doesn't hurt to love the way you look too!
If you yourself are convinced that you are beautiful you don't need any cosmetics.

    Though this is true,

you need some more basic things so that others should also feel same for you :-).

    1. Healthy body %26amp; mind.

Good routine, healthy balanced diet, good physical exercise, sound sleep, optimistic outlook.

    2. Pleasant nature

Don't hesitate to laugh, feel good for everything you have and don't cry for what you don't have. Try Yoga %26amp; Meditation.

    So have fun.

Dont worry Be happy %26amp; Look good.
Smile! Also, if you believe in yourself as being a beautiful person and find beauty in the people and things around you, you will naturally exude beauty too. Cheesy, I know, but true.
self assurance is your best quality! you don't need cosmetics to be beautiful, try to be comfortable in your own skin. your wit and personality have more to offer the world than make-up.
self confident, good skin care, sleep, water, tan and getting use to it. and being naturally pretty or cute.
being beautiful is about who u R, not wat u look like. if sum1 cant see tht then theyr not worth the effort...anyway, im sure ur already beautiful...!!x (not in a creepy way or nuthin)!!

Will cannabis/THC detected in a urinalysis for a cosmetic surgery (rhinoplasty)?

The first and last time I smoked was 5 days ago. They also took a blood sample. Will cannabis/THC detected in a urinalysis for a cosmetic surgery (rhinoplasty)?
They don't test you for that prior to surgery, they don't care. They just want to make sure you are healthy enough for the surgery. If for some reason they did test you for THC, yes it will show up in both blood and urine for 30+ days. Will cannabis/THC detected in a urinalysis for a cosmetic surgery (rhinoplasty)?
Yes, but I don't know any doctors that would care. I've had 4 surgery's in my life and had weed in my system for all of them. I just told the nurse this when doing the u/a and its never been a problem. They are mainly looking for drugs that will have a bad reaction to the anesthesia(cocaine will kill you if its in your system). My dentist told me when I was having oral surgery that weed was no big deal to have in your system, it just meant that in cases of long term use they need to slightly up the dose of anesthesia to get the desired effect.
5 days ?? probably not, and it wouldnt matter anyways
Yes. it will stays in your body for 3months i think.

  • Is cosmetic dental work eligible for sick pay?

I wouldn't think so because sick pay only covers days that you're sick! And having cosmetic surgery is not considered ill health. Alhough you won't be fit for work following treatment, you are technically not ill, in the sense that you are ill as a result of the treatment (which is regarded as voluntary treatment and not essential treatment). Your only option is to use you holiday entitlement to cover the days you will be off recovering from the treatment. Is cosmetic dental work eligible for sick pay?
Depends on your employer. But in most cases, no. Any cosmetic enhancement is the choice of the patient and is not covered by insurance nor sick pay.Is cosmetic dental work eligible for sick pay?
Just call in sick the day you are having your dental work done. They will give you sick pay for this. Just keep your mouth shut. Don't them what you are actually doing.
    you have got no chance.
    no because it voluntary.
Only if its medically required...if you are doing it of your own free will and its not a medical requirement for your better healthy then no.
no i have not heard that it is.
just don't tell them its cosmetic!

say you need root canal surgery and that they sorted out some cosmetic treatment at the same time if anyone asks
i don't think it is why don't you ask your dentist he might be of some help.
Hi. I'm only a dental student so i would check this out with your dentist first. However, i think that the only way to get free cosmetic dentistry is if your teeth are considerably ';deformed/bad'; and this is causing you a lot of stress and you can prove that it is affecting your self-confidence and making you depressed. It is very hard to persuade the NHS that this is the case and so they will usually only pay for dental treatment that is absolutely necessary to prevent bad oral healthcare. However, i would talk with your dentist first as this is a very hard question to answer without first having your teeth checked by a qualified professional dentist who is on the Dental Register. Your dentist will know all about this topic and will know what to do.
That's really up to your HR department, different companies have different policies.
Doubt it. I would take leave if you think you will need a recovery period.

Cosmetic company that just put out a new lip product that decreases lines in lips and above?

An alternative and very effective safe and natural treatment can greatly diminish lines, particularly those above the lips. Use any oil and massage lines over and over many times. The massaging friction will greatly diminish them.

First, tighten skin in mouth area by partially opening mouth and then pulling lips back firmly against the teeth. Use front of first two fingers held together and gradually build up to a very vigorous massage as skin and hands have to first adjust.

Make the massage very vigorous for fastest results then you will get amazing results.

Need help choosing the right dentist for cosmetic and oral tissue repair?

My father has a heart condition due to a childhood illness (Rheumatic Fever) %26amp; recently got an infection in his gums due to neglect. He鈥檚 not one for doctors, (growing up we couldn鈥檛 afford med insurance anyway) but after 30 yrs I got him to go to the walk-in clinic. They gave him antibiotics %26amp; told him to see a dentist ASAP. His oral health is detrimental to his heart. Insurance or not, I desperately need to get him to a good dentist. Most of his teeth are missing, so he will have to get a complete set of dentures. I am looking for the best dentist in CT. I want his new dentures to look as close to natural as possible, not like horse teeth. He may also need oral tissue repair. So far my research points to seeking a Prosthodontist. Any insight, knowledge, or experience you can provide is greatly appreciated; I want to help him make the best possible decisions through this process.Need help choosing the right dentist for cosmetic and oral tissue repair?
The first thing you should know is that if it is possible to save some of his natural teeth, especially on the lower arch, you should do it. Most dentists will invite you in to look at a trial fitting before the teeth are made to see how they look and get your approval. If you want the best, you might want to see a periodontist about the gum infection. Prosthodontists are especially useful in difficult cases.

There are many brands that animal test and the list may suprise you. The first link are the all the companies that test, the second being the brands that don't. I hope they help.

I also suggest you research Vivisection.
Bourjois don't test on animals and they have quite a big range... there are some specialist brands like Beauty Without Cruelty with entirely ethical ingredients that you only really find in health food shops

most of the time if you look on a company's website they have an ethical policy outlined which often gives details on animal testing

I don't know what country this question's being asked from but in Britain there's a chain of shops called Lush who do loads of ethical cosmetics

    hope this helped
The one company that I know doesn't test on animals is good ol' Urban Decay! Burt's bees and Rachel Perry don't as well, but I think both of them don't really make anything besides lipstick. Urban decay has great products though, and you can get them online or at Ulta. Arbonne International doesn't test on animals either, and has great makeup but it can be a little pricier.
    Most of them do.

I know the body shop didn't, but they might now, since the company was bought.

    Urban decay don't.

Search for Caring Consumer, that website has a full print out list of companies that do and don't test ingredients and the final product on animals, it's really good.
Go onto www.peta.org to find out.

The list is very extensive, but to help you, they also give you a list of companies that DO NOT test on animals.
I think you might, possibly be better off knowing who DOESN'T! Mac doesn't and Boots' No 7 doesn't, if you get that over there... Burt's Bees and Urban Decay! I don't really know many that do though

What is the cost of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery ?

Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Removal of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery is ';how much?'; and “what is the price of surgery in India?”

Oftentimes, patients choose their surgeon on the basis of price.

The cost of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery is very affordable in India and costs are much lower when compared to the United States, UK and other countries. However, since the success of your surgery is largely dependent on your choice of surgeon, cost should not be your main consideration for your decision to undergo Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery in India.

I checked out the website of Forerunners Healthcare –which is the premier most medical tourism company in India offering low cost surgery in India to International Patients. They have served more than 400 International patients from across the globe (specially US and UK) to get low cost affordable surgery in India at the best Hospitals and Medical Institutions. And the general price of the Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery is as follows-

The Cost of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery in India is $660.

    http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com

In India, any licensed medical doctor can perform Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery. To avoid unsatisfactory results, it is best to choose a surgeon who has completed an accredited residency-training program in Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery. He should have extensive experience in the procedure you will undergo. That’s when Forerunners Healthcare come into picture-helping you get the best surgeon for your surgery at the most affordable prices in the best Hospitals of India.

Your surgeon's skill can make all the difference between a good and an average result. Thus, although it is understandable that price is one of the considerations in your choice of surgeon, it is important to remember that the main consideration should be your surgeon's professional qualifications and experience.

Besides that you should look into other issues related to traveling abroad, which is your visa, passport, climate, cultural issues and language barrier. Although language is not a problem in India –as most of the people are well verse in English. But you should make sure that you have a reliable hand holding person to guide you through the various steps of getting medical treatment and surgery in India.

Hope this helps. What is the cost of Otoplasty (Ear) Cosmetic Surgery ?

Even though you have good eye sight they still have to be measured and you have to have a ';cosmedic perscription'; in order to get them. It is actually against the law for them to let you have them without a cosmedic perscription.

My advise would be go to a Walmart optomitrist and have your eyes measured for them ( the eye exam is cheap there) and them either order through them or online.

The reason you have to have them measured and there is a law, is because you can cause infection or even go blind if you get lenses that don't fit your eye properly. How do I know the diametr or curve of my eyes? I need it to be able to order the cosmetic lenses?
Your eye doctor tells you. He measures it for ya.How do I know the diametr or curve of my eyes? I need it to be able to order the cosmetic lenses?
    I dunno
I tried to order contacts online once because I didn't want to have to pay for another exam and I had my old eye prescription however every website I went to required me to have an actual prescription and wanted to know exact details on where I got the prescription so they could confirm it. I thought I found one that would allow me to order them and I ever went through the checkout but they said they needed to confirm it before they would send them out. I got an email later stating my prescription was not valid or current
you have to go to a optometrist, they can get your eye prescription or measurements.

Can anyone help me with cosmetic dentistry in england?

so i used to have really nice straight teeth. but about 6 months ago i broke a tooth near the front during an ice skating performance. i had a bridge put in and i was very happy with it. but now all my teeth are crossed at the front and when i had tooth ache i went to an emergency dentist and she told me that my dentist did a bad job of the bridge and now i need a filling another front tooth.

they're all uneven and different colours so i want veneers and a new bridge. but i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good comsmetic dentist anywhere in england and how much would it cost for a bridge and 3 veneers does anyone know? Can anyone help me with cosmetic dentistry in england?

What do you think of cosmetic plastic surgery in general ? Why would you do it? Are you afraid of it?

I got creeped out reading some stuff at http://www.whyplasticsurgery.net..

I need advice. PLEASE HELP!!!!What do you think of cosmetic plastic surgery in general ? Why would you do it? Are you afraid of it?
I think it is a great thing for the right person, right procedure, with the right doctor, at the right time. If any of those elements are off, the effects could be disastrous. I have had two cosmetic procedures: breast augmentation and rhinoplasty, and am looking into malar augmentation. It is scary, yes, and there are some real risks involved. Ultimately what it comes down to is asking yourself if the benefits outweigh the risks for you.

Are you looking into plastic surgery? Feel free to email me for the names of my doctors- they are fantastic. What do you think of cosmetic plastic surgery in general ? Why would you do it? Are you afraid of it?
I think it's a personal decision. I don't think it's bad or scary though. If you invest in going to a reputable surgeon and allow yourself plenty of time for recovery there should be no reason for some of the horror stories you hear.
I consider it to have the same risks as any other surgery. Whether or not it is worth that risk I think is up to the individual.

My mother wants to have cosmetic surgery in Thailand... Safe?

My mother is planning on travelling to Thailand to have cosmetic surgery on her nose and a minor face lift, I would prefer she just leave herself to age naturally but its her desicion. Anyone reccomend a good surgeon/ surgery that I can atleast help her in finding someone reliable. Thank youMy mother wants to have cosmetic surgery in Thailand... Safe?
There are several international standard hospitals in Thailand - I would recommend one of these as any operation will carry a degree of risk especially if you were to have an operation in England. If she would prefer somewhere a lttle less frantic than Bangkok she could try the AEK Hospital in Udon Thani - I only know the dental clinic there as I was renting one of their apartments for a month for a holiday.I had some emergency dental work done ( on a Sunday ) I guess the high number of ladyboys in the country means the surgeons have plenty of experience !!My mother wants to have cosmetic surgery in Thailand... Safe?
Firstly like anything, you get what you pay for ...especially in Thailand.

Thais are FANTASTIC at anything fake, fake tshirts, shoes, nokias, rolex's, boobs! the list goes on.

There are horror storys sure and some of them true but there are these storys everywhere. Once she gets here she should definitly only consider at least semi expensive surgeons (once again you get what you pay for)

Thailand has a blossoming industry in cosmetic surgery and some of the best and most affordable surgeons are here. (please read my other answer regarding sex change and ladyboys). As I myself have not had any surgery of this type I am reluctant (though I will mention a few who are known to me though i cant say how good they are) to refer to anyone however your embassy should be able to help. Last time i looked for someone Google came up with plenty of good ones.

Chulalongkorn university would have some good leads and has some of the greatest medical minds in the country. (Tammaset and Khon Kaen university have v.good medical facultys to if it comes to checking credentials) Burmigrad hospital is one of the better hi-so hospitals in BKK. (there are lots though)

I would personally be looking though for a surgeon who has been trained in the US, CAN, AUS, Europe,NZ, Japan though and be checking credentials as well as contacting satisfied customers. The surgery she is getting sounds relatively minor anyhow and should be rather cost effective in Thailand. Some of their best people are in Sex reasignment.

What is BOTOX? how & why is it used when a blood vessel is impinging on a nerve? (not cosmetic but medical)?

    suppose an artery is applying pressure on the facial nerve.. leading to Bell's palsy, %26amp; this is detected on MRI;

why does the treatment involve injecting BOTOX near the zygomatico-temporal (upper face) area? what does botox actually do here? where exactly should it be injected? What is BOTOX? how %26amp; why is it used when a blood vessel is impinging on a nerve? (not cosmetic but medical)?
BOTOX is a toxin produced by a strain of bacteria Clostridium Botulinum, very poisonus when ingested, but is used medically to suppress nerve impulses temporarily or permanently depending on the dosage. What is BOTOX? how %26amp; why is it used when a blood vessel is impinging on a nerve? (not cosmetic but medical)?
Cosmetic Botox is a slightly altered version of botulinum toxin, which is a neurotoxin produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. It paralyzes muscles by interfering with nerve impulses.

Medically, it was originally used to treat overactive muscles that spasmed frequently. It can also be used in the manner you describe, specifically to relax the facial nerve.

Why people go for Cosmetic Surgery outside their country?

Recently the Cosmetic Surgery issue has become a common knowledge to everybody in the world and Malaysia has become the third country being choose by the tourist, why is this phenomena happen? Why people go for Cosmetic Surgery outside their country?
Some people say it's better as far as looks in the end .And it's alot ...cheaper...by thousands.

I had gastric bypass surgery here in NC at Duke university. And my best friend went to Mexico and had hers done there...and she paid thousands, thousands and thousands less. Why people go for Cosmetic Surgery outside their country?
Because not only do some of the countries outside of their countries better at Cosmetic Surgery, but they are also cheaper.

Also, you can rest easy knowing that you'd prolly never meet anyone you know there before you're all healed from the surgery.
Because it is a lot cheaper to get cosmetic surgery done outside of the U.S.

Of course, it is hard to hold them liable for botched surgeries and they do not have to be licensed to practice cosmetic surgery.
maybe because they can do it better than the doctors in your country. who knows why its like that......it just is

Has anyone with Down's Syndrome used the advances of cosmetic surgery to correct the facial markings of DS?

I was wondering if anyone has used cosmetic surgery to correct the facial trademarks of Down's Syndrome. This would not only allow the natural features of the individual to come through, but it might also eliminate the discrimination and stereotyping that often accompanies DS.Has anyone with Down's Syndrome used the advances of cosmetic surgery to correct the facial markings of DS?
Are you referring to the almond-shaped and upward-slanting eyes, the rather flat facial profile, the unusually-shaped ears, the small, flat-bridged nose, and protruding tongue? I've never heard of anyone with this disorder resorting to cosmetic surgery to improve ones appearance. There are numerous surgical procedures, however, to alter almond-shaped eyes, ear shape, etc. But the young men and women that I have encountered are not self-conscious of their appearance--even those that are high-functioning, independent and productive.

P.S. -- You sparked my interest in looking further into this subject and this is part of what I found:

Facial Reconstruction in those with Down's

The immediate goal of reconstructive surgery is to improve the appearance of the face. Surgical procedures used toward this goal include partial resection of the tongue, correction of the down-turned lip, lifting of the nasal bridge, removal of fat from the neck, placing implants in the zygomatic bones (cheeks), removing the epicanthal folds and making the palpebral fissures more horizontal. Several studies have been published by surgeons showing approval by parents of the results of plastic surgery. However, one of these studies also showed that independent raters found no improvement in appearance.

The purpose of the surgery, however, is not merely to improve appearance but to improve social acceptance of people with Down syndrome. One study has suggested that people with Down syndrome are subject to decreased acceptance by their peers on the basis of facial features alone. The argument on behalf of facial reconstruction states that as parental expectations for school achievement and job opportunities increase, that modifying the face (along with the conventional therapies) can increase the opportunities for success in society.

It does appear to be true that, after facial reconstruction, parents have been pleased with the resulting change of appearance of their child. However, studies have not demonstrated any significant impact of the change in facial appearance on the children's social functioning. Further, some studies have disputed the notion that the appearance of children with Down syndrome has a deleterious affect on how they are perceived.

Tongue Reduction in those with Down's

Children with Down syndrome often have an open mouth and protruding tongue, though this appears to be worse in early childhood. The protruding tongue is due to a combination of several factors: a smaller than average oral cavity, enlargement of the portion of the tongue that lies near the tonsils, and a lack of muscle tone of the tongue. Tongue reduction, also called a ';partial glossectomy,'; consists of removing a wedge of tongue to make it smaller and shorter. Some doctors recommend it for aesthetic reasons, as it helps the child keep his or her mouth closed while breathing and eating. Certainly mouth-breathing can be detrimental, causing increased drooling and pushing forward the lower profile of the face and teeth. However, the most frequent motivation for this surgery seems to be the hope that it can improve speech intelligibility of the child with Down syndrome.

There are no simple answers to this controversy.Has anyone with Down's Syndrome used the advances of cosmetic surgery to correct the facial markings of DS?
As the mom to a beautiful boy with Down syndrome, I find the idea of altering his face in any way abhorent. I'm sick to death of people who are so hung up on plastic surgery and the need to look ';perfect';. My child's face is gorgeous and perfect the way it is. Plastic surgery is just that...PLASTIC. People look artificial and pathetic when it's done for vanity. Children with Down syndrome are not deformed...if plastic surgery was medically necessary for some reason, perhaps then it is justified...if it's just to make society more comfortable with one's appearance, than it's just sick.

    Just had to add...

Given that any invasive surgery, or surgery requiring a general anesthesia carries with it a risk of fatality, what kind of parent would I said ';I am willing to risk my child's life to make them look more socially acceptable (whatever that is)';????

Furthermore, what message would I be giving my child (my child who is capable of understanding anything that any other person can undertand). I'd be telling them that they are not okay as they are. That THEY must change to be accepted. That there is something wrong with THEM, and that what other people think is more important than anything.

I won't do that. I am raising my son to accept himself as he is. To accept that all people are different in some way and that if people are cruel, it's their problem, not my son's. I want him to feel good about himself the way he is and not feel he has to apologize or conform.

Make no mistake...people with Down syndrome are fully aware and have great understanding of things. This isn't a case of giving them surgery and they'll never know. Any parent who would unnecesarily put their child's life, or self-esteem at risk to conform to societal standards is not doing it for the good of the child.
Cosmetic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

    http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com

    Hope this helps.
I think most people with Down's have more sense then to worry about getting plastic surgery. They accept themselves.

Is it possible at all to get free braces for cosmetic reasons or not really severe case.?

i have a gap between my 2 front teeth and it bothers me when i speak, like when i pronounce something that start with a F or a TH, the gap also lowers my self esteem so its not all entirely cosmetic. my insurance is health first and medicaid. right now i'm just waiting for a referral from the dentist people, and does anyone know how long do you have to wait. cause i heard people say 3 months and 4 weeks I'm confused. please answer and thanks for answeringIs it possible at all to get free braces for cosmetic reasons or not really severe case.?
By the time you get the referral, get the consultation and get scheduled for the actual procedure at least 2 months elapse.

Sounds like you should get evaluated for thick / fibrous labial frenum / frenulum first that is pulling those two teeth apart.

Believe me, many people get space like that closed with braces without getting frenectomy and the space comes back as soon as the braces are removed.

So, frenectomy first (should easily be covered if you see the Oral Surgeon through referral by your dentist) and then the braces.

Are there any grants out there that pay for cosmetic surgery needs? I know loans will, but i dont want that!!!

Is there any help please! No bull please! Are there any grants out there that pay for cosmetic surgery needs? I know loans will, but i dont want that!!!
Yes, there are grants out there. You have to do the research. Also some schools pay for your cosmetic surgery after you enroll into their programs. Some hospitals also pay for the cosmetic surgery if you attend their programs and donate time to their voluntary work. Are there any grants out there that pay for cosmetic surgery needs? I know loans will, but i dont want that!!!
You could try to get on a TV program but other than that, you're either going to have to convince your insurance company that it's necessary, or you'll have to pay for it, with a loan or without.

No such thing as a grant.

Would it be like winning the ';I'm the ugliest person in my area'; type of grant?
    Perkins and Stafford
Unless you are sponsored by an organization there is nothing available for elective cosmetic surgery. You can try to be on a reality show or win a contest but that's a pretty tacky way to accomplish this.

  • How much do you spend each month for your Cosmetic?

ThanksHow much do you spend each month for your Cosmetic?
If a woman wears make up every day, then she will replace her make up about every three months or Monthly depending on the amount she uses. I buy high end cosmetics. So I spend about $25 bucks for mascara! I've tried the cheaper stuff and nothing is better then Lancome! I don't need foundation! So I only spend around $50 - $60 bucks. Now I use Cream de La Mer which is around $190 a jar! ( I get a discount! I'm in the know) How much do you spend each month for your Cosmetic?
I only wear eyeliner, mascara and blush, so I only purchase makeup every three months or so.
Each month. well i buy cover up,mascara and eyeliner and sometimes eyeshadow but they all run out at different times.

i'd say about 15 to 20 dollars because i buy the cheapest brands because they work just the same [:
    About $10.00
    0-10 dollars

i answered yours so please answer mine:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
anywhere from probably 20-40 dollars. depends what i run out of.
i go to stores n pick stuff mainly on sale, dont run out of makeup very soon so i'd say around 25-30$ in sone 3-4 months.
i use my makeup wisely! i don't over do it. so i don't run out as quickly. maybe $10 a month. that right there is maybe mascara and eye shadow and that is it. my foundation can last me 3 months.
idk, i buy in bulk usually. no more than 10 bucks.
My makeup lasts a while, but for my entire makeup no more than $20 and it's lasted me a year now and I haven't had to buy more yet...
    none
I spend about $180 on Makeup, about $200 on facials...
I usually go on a makeup run every 3-5 months, and I spend about $30... mainly because I tend to buy my makeup when there's a sale/good deal.

Do you think the increasing rate of advertisements for cosmetic surgery is sending the wrong message?

    yes and no....

yes because it makes people feel bad about them selves......which is the last thing people need to do.

and no because its their right to advertise what every they want.

but i personally think it is a bad thing.....so many girls/boys are already not happy with their body's, and so the advertisements target these people just for that reason because they know they are vulnerable.Do you think the increasing rate of advertisements for cosmetic surgery is sending the wrong message?
    No.

I believe that people should be able to advertise their legitimate business freely. Not allowing them to advertise would send the wrong message.

Is goat hair cosmetic brushes good for the skin and is it softer and is it better then other hair?

I perfer synthetic..and your a guy lolIs goat hair cosmetic brushes good for the skin and is it softer and is it better then other hair?
They are excellent brushes, and last longer than synthetic brushes. Is goat hair cosmetic brushes good for the skin and is it softer and is it better then other hair?
Not really. EcoTools have the best cosmetic brushes. Plus, they're really affordable.
Goat hair is very good, or synthetic hair is quite good
I think their pretty good synthetic is usually cheaper though but if you got the cash go for the actual hair. I think real hair might last longer. If you are a guy wearing make up hopefully you only wear foundation, concealer and powder. I think anything else on guy is way too much. But the only diffrence i could see in brushes would be how rough they are and sturdy like the qynthetic brushes loose hair all the time. Goat hair might last longer.

What is Botox Cosmetic used for, and what the heck is it?

Botox is Botulinum bacteria (the stuff that gives you botulism if you ingest it...). It is injected into muscles of the face to temporarily reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It does this by blocking nerve impulses to those muscles which causes them to ';freeze';.

    Hello,

I would suggest that you create a blog, on your blog give tips on applying makeup, make up for different skin colors etc. Update it once a week and make sure to have a link to your website where your readers/followers can purchase your goods.

Another thing I would suggest is to put an ad in the local paper recruiting ';party reps';. These people can have home parties selling your products to their friends/families/co-workers. They will build word of mouth for you, you will get sales and they will make money.

Also check out the links below, the first link is for marketing ideas on a showstring by Shel Horowitz.

Good LuckIf one start a new line of cosmetic, what is the best way to start making more sales=thru hair saloons, or what
TRY ONLINE SALES... MAKE A WEBSITE AND/OR MAKE A MYSPACE PAGE AS A WAY TO ADVERTISE,.,..... START SMALL AND WORK YOUR WAY UP.. GOOD LUCK, ITS NOT EASY, ITS A VERY COMPETATIVE WORLD OUT THERE!

The Color Workshop is a sister brand of The Color Institute.

    What cosmetic line is better?

I currently use Clinique, but am thinking of trying Mac. Any sugestions? What cosmetic line is better?
    Clinique is ';young and fresh'; they put great emphasis on ';clean, healthy skin.';

M.A.C. has very bold, bright colors.

Estee Lauder is actually owned WITH Clinique, but there is less emphasis on the skin care line of it. They have some really great foundations.

Don't be afraid to mix it up. M.A.C. has very cool eye colors and lip gloss, but you might find a better foundation, blush, mascara elsewhere. Don't limit yourself and remember to get take home samples to decide!!What cosmetic line is better?
well mac is more expensive. but i would chose mac because i think it works just as good and it is a lot better! if you touch up more during the day then you should go with clinique. but then you may like who clinique looks on you. so your choice
I PREFER MAC TO CLINIQUE... BUT IT ALSO DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN TYPE. BUT I BELIEVE THAT MAC WORKS WONDERS!!!
Clinique is really good for everyday wear, because it is hypoallergenic and doesn't clog your pores...but Mac is awesome for night looks and stays on all night.
I suggest you try MAC and see if you like it. I like Clinique because it is light, but before I started using Proactiv it was better for me to use MAC because they have better full-coverage foundations.

MAC is pretty pricey, so I suggest that you ask for some free samples. Most sales clerks will give you some, if you ask for them. Try out some freebies of different brands and see what you like best.

While you are trying things out, keep in mind what you like / don't like in each type of make-up. For example, I don't like Mary Kay lipstick because it tastes funny. I don't like the smell of Estee Lauder powder. I don't like texture of Chanel's eye liners. Keep in mind what you like and dislike, try out some samples, and I'm sure you'll find the perfect make-up!
I love MAC. I have tinted lip conditioner, and it works so well, like, i can't explain how much I love their cosmetics. They just came in with some new stuff called Turaquatic-cool and tranquil

    its really shocking.

I like clinque for its skin care. I have a lip balm from there, i love lip gloss.; its smooth, and portable.

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/co…

    have fun
Honestly, if you ask any true make-up artist they will tell you that both of these brands are “crap.” By make-up artist, I mean someone who does just makeup and not the counter at Dilliards. These brand have ingredients you cannot pronounce or have ever heard of. Sadly I have tried both and the eye shadows end up in the crease of your eye at the end of the day, very ugly. I recommend using Sue Devitt or Bare Minerals… Natural ingredients and lasts all day. Good luck!
I have been a user Of Lancome for at least 18 years. It's very elegant makeup with really vibrant colors, and also a very european feel. I dont care for Clinique, but i do like their perfume Happy. I have never tried Mac, its supposed to be good though!
    i like mac.
IVE USE BOTH AND I WOULDNT SUGGEST EITHER I NOW USE BARE ESSETUALS AND I LOVE IT !!!!!!
It depends on what kind of makeup you are looking for. For example, if you are looking for a good foundation, I recommend Prescriptives. If you are looking for lipstick, I recommend Chanel and Estee Lauder. If you are looking for Mascara, I recommend Loreal and Lancome.
I use Mary Kay and I love it!!!
Oh my gosh, neither, you should definitely go with Mary Kay! Its the number one in skin care and make-up! you won't feel like a powdered cake and it comes with a personal Consultant that comes to you, so you never have to leave the house! Mary Kay is awesome and u get free gifts just for your opinion on the product! Try Mary Kay, what would it hurt, I promise you it wouldn't hurt your skin! MK#1! MK has SO much to offer: tax write-offs, time with family, WRITING YOUR OWN CHECKS! The only expense is the REAL diamonds that the company gives their Consultants for FREE! Mk helps Women feel beautiful, it helps them to believe in themselves. Try Mary Kay!
Bare Essentials/Bare Minerals have best coverage and are mid-priced.
I found Estee Lauder better than both
    avon
I like Mac b/c the colours are hipper, it's more youthful and provides more variety.
    clinique.x
    mabline newyork
stick to clinique...its fresh, simple and clean
You will probably find a better foundation at Clinique, they have more formulas and pay more attention to skin care, but as far as anything beyond that, MAC is better and has a far broader color selection.
I would suggest MAC and Covergirl...both great brands I use. MAC is a bit on the expensive side though, so if you're on a budget, definately take a look at Covergirl. :)
if youre unsure about mac, try studio for a little bit of a calmer mature look. it was created by one of the creators of mac, and the 2 lines are very similar. it is only sold in ULTA stores

Get Cosmetic surgery in India.Cosmetic and dental Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

my cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. she is more than very happy with the results. she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. Help!assignment describe the duties of a quality control chemist working in a cosmetic manufacturing compnay?

    please help me...........

:D thanks! God Bless!Help!assignment describe the duties of a quality control chemist working in a cosmetic manufacturing compnay?
You have all the key words needed to do a detailed search - use any advance search (i.e. google, dog pile, etc)

    In the search all words: ';quality control, chemist, cosmetic';

    You will find things as:

    Responsibilities:

    1. Formulate from concept to finish

    2. Duplicate prototype

    3. Understand each ingredient function and use

    4. Understand regulatory requirements and perform CTFA search

    5. Interact closely with Marketing and customers to develop formulas

    6. Test product performance

    7. Troubleshoot scale-up issues

    8. Supervise pilot and first three production batches

    9. Perform stability and troubleshoot unstable formulas

    Chemist Responsibilities:

    - Analytical chemistry testing on raw materials

    - Operate all lab instruments to perform analytical test methods, troubleshoot problems with instruments.

    - Drug Stability Program and active testing on OTC drug products.

Of course - individual companies will have their own set of requirements. You could also search of some of the big csometic companies to see what type of chemistry they do.

Another source of information is the American Society for Quality (ASQ) 800-248-1946 or http://www.asq.org

If you call them, ask for a contact person with the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Division. Contact that person and they can direct you to a lot of information.

The ASQ also has a number of professional certification exams - one of the top level exams is the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Any chemist who wants to be the top in quality control should consider taking that exam. The Body of Knowledge (or skills needed is a long list of technical stuff). - http://www.asq.org/certification/quality鈥?/a> - it is far to long to type here so go to the website.

This should get you started on the homework

I recently had a lot of dental work done in Budapest, Hungary. I flew direct from London, the work was fantastic and the prices compared to London were superb!!! I'm returning later this year with a friend to have more treatment. You shouldn't. Our skin is an organ, look it up and you will see that the skin is very pliable with a substance called elastin. this is meant to stretch. That's why it is able to stretch so much during a pregnancy. Surgery will not remove this elastin. It throughout your entire body of skin.3 months back I got stretch marks of my abs removed by cosmetic surgery,Will I have any problem in pregnency?

No, it will not have an effect on your pregnancy. However, it will have an effect on your skin.. I would recommend using ';Palmer's Body Butter'; it is great, my friend used it and she hasn't developed any stretch marks!

  • Would you ever have a cosmetic surgery just to be attractive?

Yes, but only if there are no risks/side complications involved. If there aren't any risks, it would be the same as trying to be more attractive by wearing makeup, or having your nails done.Would you ever have a cosmetic surgery just to be attractive?
Sure but it probably wouldn't help that much :pWould you ever have a cosmetic surgery just to be attractive?
is there any other kind of cosmetic surgery? that's what COSMETIC means. i dont know why anyone would have cosmetic surgery in order to become LESS attractive.

but no, i would not. i'm happy with how and who i am.
    Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!
I don't have to worry about that. Justin Timberlake is too late. I've already brought sexy back.
    Oh for sure ! ! !

Yes. I'm interested in the bottom line with as little effort as humanly possible.
I would probably consider surgery, but I would never go through with it. I don't think I could look at myself the same way if I knew I possessed fake beauty.
Yes... for myself because it would make me happy and more confident
    Never!
years ago i would've said no.. but now i cant be to sure because i just started my first pregnancy and i never knew how much i oved my body shape until it started to change. so i can say yes that i will do something drastic to be attractive.
I certainly wouldn't have it to be uglier.
Fortunately, I find myself attractive, so no I wouldn't have any cosmetic sugery. Who knows about 20 years from now, but as for now, I'm good...
While I would qualify for extreme makeover middle aged male edition, it is reasonable for one to consider such procedures. One must evaluate the risk and reward. I think it is fully acceptable if one desires to improve his or her looks.
    maybe
    absolutly, why not?
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, COSMETIC SURGERY DOES NOT MAKE ANYONE ATTRACTIVE. HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED DR. 90210? YOU SHOULD! THIS WOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION PERFECTLY, THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SURGERY LOOK THE SAME ONLY NOW THEIR FACES ARE STRETCHED TO THE MAXIMUM AND IT MAKES THEM LOOK LIKE THEY BELONG INA WAX MUSEUM! IF YOU ASK ME, COSMETIC SURGERY ONLY MAKES PEOPLE LOOK WORSE, SEEING AS HOW THEY WERE NOT MADE TO LOOK THAT WAY. PUT IT THIS WAY, IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, THEN YOUR WERE NOT MEANT TO HAVE IT.
NO, God thinks I am beautiful just the way I am. So does my husband.

Who got to decide who was attractive and who isn't??

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Im trying 2 find a cosmetic surgeon who will give a free sugery for liposuction and breast reduction, help me?

I am very heavy set and have been since the birth of my baby. I am one of the less fortunate people with lots of struggle. The most thing that will help my self esteem and the courage to do more things is to proceed with this sugery. I have major back problems all through out the night. I am in my early twenties, and I am over 150lbs. My breasts are a tripple D and I am short in height. I need liposuction to the stomache, back, arms and shoulders. I am also looking foward to other procedures. If you know someone who could make me happy, I will give you a big hug. Thank youIm trying 2 find a cosmetic surgeon who will give a free sugery for liposuction and breast reduction, help me?
Sometimes doctors donate their time to particular charities, look in your local area for any medical charity groups. Also - worth a try is television channels like TLC, Health, Discovery that may do something.

I don't know of any surgeons doing pro bono work. But see if your insurance will cover it!
Before a cosmetic surgeon (plastic surgeon) does surgery, they generally want you to lose weight first. You don't say how long it's been since you had your baby, but it often times takes about a year to lose the weight you gained while you were pregnant.

Being fit will also help you get better after you have surgery. If you are not eating properly (calorie wise), it will do no good to have liposuction because your body will continue to produce fat cells and you will inevitably gain weight in those areas again. So start walking on a daily basis... start slow and work up as you go.

I honestly do understand your situation, but I also know what the plastic surgeon will expect of you.

If you need breast reduction surgery, many insurance companies will pay for it if your doctor recommends it. I believe you would qualify, so don't hesitate to ask your doctor for a referral for your insurance company.

Please be cautious when looking for a plastic surgeon. There have been many deaths due to patients who trusted their care to unqualified plastic surgeons. Some are not qualified at all. Do your research... be sure they are board certified, check their history to see if they have any lawsuits pending in any state. Ask to see pictures of the surgeries they have done on other patients and also ask for references from other patients that have had their surgery done by the plastic surgeon you are choosing.

my friend was talking about going to budapest for our teeth done, is this safe?Cosmetic dentistry abroad, is it a good or bad idea?
You decide it yourself but it is safeCosmetic dentistry abroad, is it a good or bad idea?
bad bad bad I hear horrible things about the dentistry there
    Bad idea.
    yes of course

Can anyone recommend a good cosmetic dentist in Sydney?

There's Total Dental at Hurstville - they do free initial consultations - but all big dentists should do cosmetic work.

Would you ever get cosmetic plastic surgery?

or have you already?Would you ever get cosmetic plastic surgery?
    No and no.

I'm a firm believer in I am who I am for a reason. I have flaws, yes, but they are some reasons why the people in my life love me. Would you ever get cosmetic plastic surgery?
I had a rhinoplasty when I was 17, so technically yes, I have had cosmetic surgery. It was actually to correct my deviated septum which was making it so I could only breathe through half of my nose, but it resulted in a large cosmetic change since my nose is now actually straight instead of slanted to the left.

Would I ever actually have true cosmetic surgery? Maybe. There's a line between vanity and something needed to increase self esteem and self confidence. Until I get to the point of needing a procedure to actually improve my self image, I'll say no.
I'd seriously consider it. If someone offered me a free surgery..... I'd get a tummy tuck. :) Having three children in three years was very unforgiving to my midsection. A breast lift and reduction wouldn't be a bad idea either. lol I don't think I'd actually be able to go through with it though. I'd be too scared.

The one ';elective surgery'; I've ever had went horribly wrong and I almost died. The thought of doing any additional elective surgery freaks me out. The surgery was not cosmetic. It was just getting my tubes tied. If that was my luck with such a ';routine procedure';, I can't imagine what would happen if I did anything else. I guess I should have just gotten an IUD. lol Keeping that in mind, I've invested in wonderful push-up bras and control top panties. :)
If it were free, I would opt for a breast lift....and maybe a little enhancement to a full C. I breastfed two kids back to back and fate was not kind to my breasts. After I weaned my son they went down to a 32C- which is not only smaller than what I had before, it is also a hard size to find. I fear what, and where, they will be after this kid is done breastfeeding.
Used to I would say No...Even when I was pregnant I said No, its just un-natural..... *Ok- Jump ahead 11 months now*

My Daughter is 11 months and now, my answer would be YES YES YES YES!!!

I am VERY self concious of my stomach. I had a C-section so the skin kinda hangs a little since I have an incision....Also, i have some stretch marks and looking at myself makes me feel ugly...I dont even like for my husband to see me...

So, YES I would DEFINATELY consider Plastic Surgery
No- I believe in loving your body for what it is and only doing healthy changes, like more exercise and eating well. Though I don't know the reason God gave me this body and maybe I would have liked a nicer one-lol but because this is what I was given this is what I am to look after not change.
well, i was debating on getting my tummy done. i dont see anytthing wrong with it as long as you are aware of the risks. i was watching a show and a girl dies from a tummy tuck infection! it scared the crap out of me and now im changing my mind. i think im just gonna be happy with what i have. but if someone wants to get it done, i completely understand. its hard to have a baby and watch your figure go to poo!! but then again, i would give up my tummy anyday for my perfect baby =)
    Heck yeah I would.

I would get a breast augmentation and I would also get a tummy tuck or something that helped with my FLAB. I wouldn't get anything just to get it, but if I could get those two for free I would. I need a self-esteem boost anyways and those two things would give me some.
yes I would. They only thing I dislike about my body is my midsection. After three babies I have this unbearable pooch that I can't get rid of. My boobs...who cares. No one sees those. But I would love to wear a bathing suit with out looking like I am 3 months pregnant. That is my only big grief.
Yes I would only it were free lol (Fat chance right)..Not to be vain or anything but I think it would help my self confidence. All I would be interested in is a tummy tuck %26amp; boob lift..I do think some people take it a little to far but it is their body and therefore their choice.
I have breast implants (yep so please thmbs me down jealous ppl)...I will get my face lifted if and when I need it when I get older...We have the money so why not?

I plan to get my implants taken out and replaced with smaller ones..I got them a tad to big...
I have always wanted breast implants (not huge, but a full C), but I doubt that I will ever have it done...I am too chicken.

I am getting Lasik eye surgery done next month, but I don't think that counts as cosmetic surgery
If I could i would do it in a heart beat. After 3 kids things aren't like they use to be. I would love a tummy tuck and to get my breast done.
I don't mind looking older, but I'd like to lift the boobies back up to where God put em.

Already talked to the hubby about it! :)
I've thought it would be nice to get a breast lift......nursing really takes its toll! Anyone know of a good doctor who works for free?? lol.
Yes, if someone offered it for free or we ever get to a financial status where we could afford something like that.
Once I am done having babies I would love to get my boobs reduced and lifted! We'll see if money permits... Oh and maybe a tummy tuck!
i wont do it even if its for free. i dont want anybody experimenting on my body or face just for vanity.

I'd get a tummy tuck...and possibly have my boobs placed back where they belong...after breast feeding two children...my boobs are far from where they used to be.
No. Not worth the risk of going under general aenesthetic .
Not unless I was dying and needed it, or unless it was for a health reason.
If I could afford it I might get a tummy tuck and get the fat sucked out of my legs. Lol!
If I received a huge discount or got it for free... I'd do it in a heartbeat

Yes, I plan on getting a breast lift when I have extra money... Hehe... extra money... When will that happen????
Only if it was free. I'd consider getting a nose job or a tummy tuck.
i dunno. maybe, but i hope that i won't need it, cuz i'll be cute for a long long long time
    nononononononononono!
Yes yes yes! I want all my stretch marks gone! But unless i win lotto or get free surgery i dont see it happening
Nope, I like me how I am.
no. I think faults are more attractive then fake perfection
Yes.. If and when I can afford it.
