There are many brands that animal test and the list may suprise you. The first link are the all the companies that test, the second being the brands that don't. I hope they help.

I also suggest you research Vivisection.
Bourjois don't test on animals and they have quite a big range... there are some specialist brands like Beauty Without Cruelty with entirely ethical ingredients that you only really find in health food shops

most of the time if you look on a company's website they have an ethical policy outlined which often gives details on animal testing

I don't know what country this question's being asked from but in Britain there's a chain of shops called Lush who do loads of ethical cosmetics

hope this helped
The one company that I know doesn't test on animals is good ol' Urban Decay! Burt's bees and Rachel Perry don't as well, but I think both of them don't really make anything besides lipstick. Urban decay has great products though, and you can get them online or at Ulta. Arbonne International doesn't test on animals either, and has great makeup but it can be a little pricier.
Most of them do.

I know the body shop didn't, but they might now, since the company was bought.

Urban decay don't.

Search for Caring Consumer, that website has a full print out list of companies that do and don't test ingredients and the final product on animals, it's really good.
Go onto www.peta.org to find out.

The list is very extensive, but to help you, they also give you a list of companies that DO NOT test on animals.
I think you might, possibly be better off knowing who DOESN'T! Mac doesn't and Boots' No 7 doesn't, if you get that over there... Burt's Bees and Urban Decay! I don't really know many that do though
