Do you think cosmetic surgery is morally wrong?

Michael, if you care to comment....Do you think cosmetic surgery is morally wrong?
That's preposterous.Do you think cosmetic surgery is morally wrong?
it depends... people who get cosmetic surgery tend to have other issues that go unresolved. its one thing to get it to fix cancer or another disease or birth defect, but its another to get surgery for no real reason. someone could be suffering from low self esteem or depression and think surgery will fix it, but often times it doesn't. it might treat the symptom but not the cause. surgery is a major decision and shouldn't be taken lightly. although, it up to the individual to decide what is right for themselves and to make sure they take the right precautions ahead of time. they need talk to many doctors to ensure their safety and to help solve their underlying issues (if they are present).
No... I think people should make choices and do whatever they feel like, as long as they don't hurt anybody else then there's no moral issue.

I think it's more morally wrong to judge somebody for making a decision that doesn't affect the judger.
Absolutely not. What if you lost a breast to breast cancer, wouldn't you want them whole again and not so noticeable? I feel we should rebuild self-esteem where we can. If those people are nutso, they were anyway before they had surgery.
I am not Michael, but no, its not a moral issue. Most people feel better when they feel like they look better....it can give some people alot of confidence they never had.

merry christmas
