As long as you are comfortable with plugging the specific brand you are working for. If you are independent or want to recommend other brands, this might not be a good idea.
I personally do not like or trust the makeup artist at a cosmetic counter. Some of them have made me look like a clown. But even worse, they seem to be trained to insult you just to get you to buy their products. (e.g. ';You skin looks so wrinkled! or dry! You need this moisturizer, blah, blah';.) The next time they try to insult me, I might counter with, ';Hey if your product line is so great, how come your skin isn't perfect?';Is makeup artist at a cosmetic counter a good job?

yes! after i had my two children i was left with a surprise! a stomach that i did not recognize and was really intruding on my self esteem. i tried everything so eventually decided to have a tummy tuck. most wonderful thing i have ever done! i did not know how i felt about cosmetic surgery but now i am a firm believer! only you know yourself and you should do whatever makes you happy. you will be amazed how something positive can make you feel so great inside. just remember to keep it simple if having something done to your face. most of all look for a great doctor who is licensed in all areas. good luck!

Been there, done that! :) First I got braces when I was 15, and then breast implants when I was 22.
If I had to choose anything else to do, it'd probably be rhinoplasty(nose job). I think my nose is too long and beaklike. I especially hate how my nose appears in most pictures. I have to hold my head at specific angles for it to look half decent. But I don't know if I'd want to get a nose job though, because it's one of the most difficult plastic surgery procedures, therefore making it the most prone to screw-ups or having the nose not turn out optimally. A screwed-up nose job will be more obvious and apparent than a screwed-up boob job, since boobs are hidden under clothing during the day and since a bad nose job affects not just your nose, but your whole face.
2nd, I'd probably get my chin restructured. Even as a very thin girl, sadly I have somewhat of a double chin like the kind that fat people have. There's too much fat on it and as a result, people in the past that didn't know me and only saw a headshot of me had mistaked me for being a ';fat person'; even though I was in fact somewhat underweight.

I had a child 6 years ago.. my skin is still not tight on my stomach.. whenever I gain a little weight it goes right there. I am not fat, I weigh 123 lbs.. but I think if I got it fixed I would be worried about it going back..Should I get cosmetic surgery on my stomach?
Six years is a long time...I dont think that exercise will work if it hasnt up until now. I say go for the surgery- but only if you're willing to spend the money, and only if it will make you feel better about yourself. If it wont change the way you feel, then theres really no point in getting it is there? Also, if you're planning on having another child, you may want to hold off on the surgery until after the second child is born. But after six years I imagine you must be tired of the extra skin, make sure you get an accredable plastic surgeon to ensure the results last.

I am only about 115 lbs by the way and i still have it :(

If you wanted to look more Asian, you wouldn't want a crease at all. If you've got the idea of those unnaturally big eyed Asians in your head, they're using eye glue/tape which literally glues or tapes their double eyelid into place for a few hours until they take it off. Then their eyes go back to normal size without a crease.
Edit: There's no way to take away the crease as a standard surgery. Also there's no gaurantee you'll look Asian afterwards as many Caucasians have the monolid as well along with a good perfent of Native Americans. You might able to get fat grafting/transplant over your eyes to cover up the crease similar to natural Asian genetics. However as you age, you may have to get surgery to remove it because a lot of people with monolids, the fat will droop over their eyes and even cause vision blockage. If you wanted to look Asian, you'd have to do a lot more than your eyes. You'd probably have to get cheek implants and you'd most likely have to get your nose made smaller but if you're Caucasian/white, you probably have a high bridge nose which is not an Asian trait so you would still retain traces of Caucasian looks because they can't get rid of that. Go to a plastic surgeon and ask about it. They've got surgeries that can ';caucasian-ize'; ethnic black and Asian faces that are commonly performed all over the world. I'm sure there's a doctor out there that can do something. I have not had cosmetic surgery, but I did have a salivary gland tumor removed from under my upper lip. There are many nerves in the facial area so there is a possibility of nerve damage. I had the surgery around 5-6 years ago and still have numbness on part of my lip.
Nerve damage does not always cause numbness though, it can also cause pain, which can continue for quite a while. Nerves take time to regenerate/recover.
I have not had cosmetic surgery, but I did have a salivary gland tumor removed from under my upper lip. There are many nerves in the facial area so there is a possibility of nerve damage. I had the surgery around 5-6 years ago and still have numbness on part of my lip.

If I remember correctly, Neutrogena,Maybelline, and Loreal do not test...also from what I remember Max Factor,Cover Girl and Procter and Gamble test or the companies that have their ingredients do animal testing. I remember that I haven't bought these for that purpose. Sometimes it'll say on the back of the package..animal testing is ridiculous since the first human to try the product is the actual guinea pig.duh.

My 19 year old sister got a nose job and she has just recovered. She had the bump on her nose removed and the tip narrowed. Pretty major I think.. Anyway she is telling everyone (even MY friends) that a door opened on her and broke her nose and thats why it looks different. Because its pretty obvious that she has a different nose.
I know she has a right to her privacy, but come on.. I don't like all this lieing and I don't like having to lie for her and cover up her secret. Especially since she never does me any favors or protects my secrets.

The only reason I would need orthognathic surgery is to correct a speech slur. I have no other side effects otherwise. Are you going to be like on display in the middle of a store sitting at a counter? I mean for a full face make-over. Is there any privacy at all for that? Well, you will be sitting at a public counter. But people aren't staring at you. The clinician will take off your make, work their magic then put a whole new face of makeup on you. But there really isn't any privacy. If you bring in a pic they will do their very best to get the look. At the Clinique counter, there is a model with really smokey green eye makeup. I told the clinician that I wanted that makeup. She did an awesome job! It didn't look exactly the same because she make it work on my face with my skintone, eye color, etc. Yes, they will listen and they will ask you what you want. Just be sure to speak up and be firm about things you do and don't want.

I am still a D now (they shrunk again, slightly lol) and really pleased i didnt have any op.

If you have a Sephora in your area, call them. They have make up artists from many of the different companies that sell products in their store. If you call, you can make an appointment for a make over by a professional and they will give you whatever make up tips you want.
Another great place to go is your local M.A.C store or M.A.C. counter in a mall (Usually at Macy's and Nordstrom's) Again, call ahead, and they will schedule time for you to sit down with one of their artists for a make over. They will even give you a sheet showing you how to do what they have done to your face.
I would recommend you start with Sephora, because you will get to see all different brands, not just one.

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Be carefull girl to do anything overseas!!! It is better to just pay the money and have it done in here and if you don't like it the doctor will redo it for free you will just pay the anastisialogist. If you have it done for example in Brazil, they will put you on the flight as soon as you feel better and if you need redone you have to go there again and pay ticket, hotel taxi etc. etc. and before you know it you have payed more that in US. I had a work done in January and did not like it too much so he was redoing it this past week for nothing. Good luck with everything you decide, but the worst thing is to be messed up and not able to do anything with it. Best to pay once and more, than twice or three times for fixing it.
